New York

A few weeks ago, my friend Micah and I flew up to Connecticut to stay with his sister and her family. They live an hour away from New York City, so Micah and I took advantage and spent an afternoon seeing some of the sights.

Walking through Times Square

In front of the Empire State building. We didn't go in because we didn't want to pay the $18 it takes to get in. It's really not as tall as I thought it would be.

Just a random shot, but I thought it looked very New Yorkish...

The Flatiron Building...or for you Spider-man fans, you may recognize it as the Daily Bugle. I didn't. Micah just told me that's what it was :-)

In front of the Statue of Liberty...If you squint your eyes and look real hard you can see it in the background near Micah's right elbow. (This picture is actually one I stole from Micah's facebook album, thanks Micah!) I know some of you are wondering why we didn't go to the Statue of Liberty if we were that close to it. It would have been cool to go, but not on our budget!
